Tak & The Power Of Juju

A few weeks ago, Nickelodeon premiered a new show called Tak & The Power Of Juju. The very first episode featured a segment storyboarded by my brother, Emmanuel (who started as a PA on the show but made the jump to storyboarding after only a few weeks). We watched the show together, and it was really cool to see his first professional animation work come to life on the screen. And what's also very cool is that I got my first shot at pro work on the very same show almost two years earlier. Back in January '06, I worked on some character concept designs for Tak, and since the show is airing now, I figured I could share a couple sketches.
